The Mariners' Museum features more than 60,000 square feet of exhibit space that showcases 500 years of maritime history with miniature ship models, figureheads, paintings, scrimshaw, photos, Native American exhibits and other artifacts, as well as an International Small Craft Center, library, archives, Museum Shop and Museum Cafe. In addition, don't miss The Monitor Collection, which contains artifacts from the famous Civil War ironclad.

The Mariners' Museum is nestled within a 550-acre park that features a five-mile walking trail, picnic areas and a 167-acre lake with boat rentals. Across the street from The Mariners' Museum lies the Peninsula Fine Arts Center. Museum hours are 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 12 PM through 5 PM Sunday (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).
